Hypothermia is a slow, and unseen killer each year. This is especially important for the under nurished, which many are, and the elderly, and most do not have adequate clothing especially for the winter. I’m glad to be somewhat able to write about what is on my mind and heart most of the time thanks to Wordpress. I’m a 60 year old man who is a widower twice. And I took care of my dear mother the last five years of her life with us, and buried her in 13. I’ve been homeless for the last seven years since my last wife passed away in 12. Rest In Peace ladies! I’ve started this blog for expressing my thoughts, and feelings about what I see, and experience not only as a homeless person, and yet, as a follower of the Way! There are 197 verses in scripture that speak of how the poor are to be treated, and from what I have seen! (you shall know them by their fruits.) I am sorely disappointed! And, honestly... I think God is too! So, please bear with me as I attempt to make some sense out of this mess? Just know I’m crazy about this topic, along with a couple of others! Is it just me, or is the world insane? 
Hypothermia can actually set in at about 50 degrees F. Sustained cool, especially in a breeze, and if the person is wet? These can be life or death challenges for people on the streets long before the first freeze.
