Somewhat of a poem I wrote in 13, I think…

Please forgive all rules broken? For me it’s about the heart, and I’m no where near ready or perfect! I pull the Moses card all the time, and my understanding of God’s tone towards the poor is what call’s me back lol! And some days are better than others… yet most, like all of us out here, it’s a struggle for our life, and our souls…! Half of most homeless where not addicted to anything before they landed on the streets… mostly just because of the circumstances, and financial support or stability, and medical bills can overwhelm a couple easily putting them in a position where they are thrown out side, and then comes the devil…offering relief from the shame… and agony of this cold, unforgiving world.

PS: so we understand each other I’ve been blessed with 20 years of not sticking a needle in my arm! Praise, and bless God! And I happen to be one of the older guys that the younger ones come to for all kinds of things, solace in hard times, maybe a word of comfort in darkness… And once in a while you’ll run into the one that really wants help! This is where the rubber meets the road… Helping the ones everyone walked away from… Abandoned! This is the path God seems to have laid before me… Mmm!? God bless.
