Where are the homeless, and the poor wanted? No where I have found!

Acts 4:32-37 And the multitude of believers had but one heart and one soul: neither did any one say that aught of the things which he possessed, was his own; but all things were common into them.

33 And with great power did the apostles give testimony of the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord; and great grace was in them all.

34 For neither was there any one needy among them. For as many as were owners of lands or houses, sold them, and brought the price of the things they sold,

35 And laid it down before the feet of the apostles. And distribution was made to every one, according as he had need.

36 And Joseph, who, by the apostles, was surnamed Barnabas, ( which is by interpretation, The son of consolation,) a Levite, a Cyprian born,

37 Having land, sold it, and brought the price, and laid it at the feet of the apostles.

This is where the poor and needy are welcome, and loved! In the house of the living God! Yet, what I see is a dead church! Or, maybe Satan has infiltrated…. making us all selfish and Narcissistic, uncaring, unmercifully the devil’s children!?

This is just a recurring theme God plays in this old soul. And, I weep for us, and the Lord.

God bless you with this: to open your eyes, and your heart. Is my prayer! ( Open my eyes and heart even more… LORD GOD!!!)

Ye all, have a wonderful day!

The verse which comes to mind is, you shall know them by their fruits. Also, to love one another, as I have loved you.
There I go preaching again 😊 I honestly don’t expect anything from the modern day church yet, I do know deep in my heart that there are people who need, and desire to hear what the Lord says about them, the poor and homeless. And I’m not expecting people to sell all they have, yet just maybe be a friend to someone who doesn’t have a friend, and maybe a love will Kindle from the realization that the person in front of you/me is the image of your God that you say you worship, and love?! It takes being real, faith, hope, trust, and most of all love for our brothers and sisters 💕 God bless you and your family. Thank you for your comments, they help me think, and that’s a good thing lol. May the Peace of God be with you!

Forgive my late response? I’ve been writing a lot, and attempting to keep up on my blog lol. A little more time consuming than I thought lol, yet I have only one purpose, and that is to serve God as he wishes. God bless you for reblogging my blog. Again, please forgive my tardiness? Have a wonderful day!

If the church of Jerusalem as we find in Acts is alive and well anywhere in Lubbock, Texas, I sure have not found it. Scares me to take it this serious, but what else should I expect from church? Narcissism? Uncaring? Unmerciful children of the devil? That MIGHT seem like a wildly outlandish description of the church in Lubbock, but if you were a homeless man kicked out of the church of Lubbock into the freezing cold of night last winter, then this MIGHT be a fair description coming from you. Think about it.
